Contacted the DPhil coordinator over email to ask about interviews. Her response was: "We have received 160 applications for the 13 offers that we can make. We have already invited everyone from the January deadline who will be receiving an interview, and early next week we will invite people from the March deadline for their interviews. I know that this may be disappointing news. I wish you the best of luck on your plans for doctoral study." | ||||

To person asking about DPIR, I've heard from another socsci department I also applied to about Clarendon nominations, so I assume most decisions are made and we should hear official results soon. As I recall, last year's results starting coming out about a week from now. Can I suggest we all go to the forums to keep results page from getting too clogged up? There's a forum post for political science applications that is mostly about US schools right now, but as that season is ending and non-US season is starting, it can be a good place to get info | ||||
