B.S. in Physics, minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. Research experience in machine learning techniques including an undergraduate thesis on artificial neural networks. 2 years of industry software engineering experience

Expected but upsetting.

GRE 335, B.E. Information Technology (68.76%) from top tier school in India, 2 publications in IEEE international conferences, Relevant work-ex in ML, 6.5 years of work-ex in total. Rejected probably because of low undergrad GPA.

Not very surprised. It seems that they look for those who with strong CS background or at least, the undergraduate university should be ranked very top in the world.

GPA of 8.77 from one of the top 5 IITs. 1.5 years of relevant industry experience.

Does not matter much. Anyways had no expectations from this.
