Admit for Ms in MSDL from USC, Rejected MSDS from NEU, UCI, admit from Rutgers MSDS(Stats)

GPA is 9.03/10.

Interviewed in Jan. Did not hear back after that. Contacted the admission committee a few days back to know the status of the application. They mentioned that if I had not been informed by then, it is most likely a rejection. So, quite surprised by the offer.

applied for phd in cs, selected by cross-appointed faculty with full funding.

First offer :( Purdue Undergraduate with 4.0/4.0, graduate in three years. Work with Professor here 1.5 years. 3 LOR, No pub. (PL) Without funding :( Saying 1600 application this year. Can't believe is so competitive this year....

No GRE

Interviewed by 2 PIs, got accepted by both.

Second time rejected by this program. 3.94 GPA, Math and CS double major from a medium ranked state school. 2 years of undergrad research experience with 1 published NLP paper (first author), 3 years of working experience as a data scientist and SWE. Guess I'm just not Harvard material :(

4.0, Engineering Undergrad, No GRE, 3 research conferences, 1 first-author paper. Knew it was coming along with the rest of y'all, still annoying though. Good luck to everyone else in this cycle (and future cycles), we still got a lot more coming up :).
