Logged onto UCI tracker and saw rejection letter, oh well

Cell Biology degree. Strong CS and Bio LORs. 1 year experience in financial computing.

To the poster below: I think it means that your profile are selected and being reviewed. You may get admission soon. Congrats!!

Status changed to being reviewed, is that a rejection on the way?

A bummer, but this was my reach school so not altogether surprising. GPA is MA.

Already in a UC PhD program, and was looking to transfer. Still waiting on other programs. Not too upset- OC is boring. And, yes you can get into a UC with low gre scores!

To the UC Irvine question-asker, it was an email from a faculty member to 'chat' next week.

To the UC-irvine (Finance PhD) poster below, did you receive the interview invitation today via email? Could you please tell me who emailed you and when? Thank you so much.

In response to below, I did a year of exchange abroad at UCI, so I think that was determinant. I have 2 international internship experiences, 1 year of unrelated research, no publications tho; got 115 on TOEFL.

Nice email from Clara. Really upset, but I have yet to hear from elsewhere so there's still hope.

Sent a letter via email. Not surprised. Wasn't the best fit.

1 international workshop publication, 2 yrs work experience

to the UC Irvine post below, MSCSrnCan you please share your complete profile ?

We realize that you would probably succeed in the program were you admitted.the selection process identifies applicants who best match the specific strengths and interests of our graduate program. Best wishes to those admitted!

Email with form letter dated February 21st. It was cleverly signed by the chair of the department, so it made it nicer. It was still considerate.

Upsetting but expected after seeing other posts about interviews and acceptances.
