ignore waitlist: Did anyone hear from or contact applied physics department?

I expected the rejection though seeing that someone got an interview in January here and i didn't get any or hear anything after the application. Congratulations to all who get in and best wishes to everyone rejected.

Average GPA with lackluster grades in some courses. Decent GRE. LORs from Dean of Engineering, a research professor, and a MIT alumni. Co-authored 1 publication. Internship in startup and investment bank. Thank God.

Expected at this point, I did not hear anything after sending my application. "Although we are not able to provide applicants with specific feedback as to why you were not admitted, it is generally due to lack of available funding." Congrats to everyone who got accepted.

Have received an email upon enquiry that admission committee will meet this Friday and will have results soon after

TTPB: Thank you for sharing your status! That makes me feel not alone in this long waiting. I contacted the secretary last week and she told me that the "decisions"(didn't mentioned rejections only) should be sent next week. I just don't know why some people already received that. Fingers crossed!

(not rejected yet) I assume IR at this point ...?

Got the offer late because of a problem in matching TOEFL scores.
