To the Anthropology poster below who had an interview and a skype chat: what discipline of Anthropology are you applying for?

To all the people waiting for UCLA responses. This week is admission result time as per previous year timeline. Wishing everyone the best and fingers crossed.

Super excited about being admitted, but anxiously waiting to hear about funding. I was told I might hear back this coming week about that. Has anyone heard about funding yet?

Uhhhhhgggg. I was accepted last year, but was forced to turn it down due to unfortunate personal reasons. I reapplied again this year, hoping to get in again and be able to attend, but here we are. If you were lucky enough to be admitted, but don't want to attend, please, please, let them know as soon as you're able

I interviewed 1/24 via webcam and was invited to recruitment weekend 1/30. The recruitment weekend is at the end of February

UTM is definitely my one and only choice for my department and research focus. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I have a master's degree from Columbia (in a different but related area) which I thought might be an advantage. oh well.

Email from director of graduate studies saying they recommended my application for acceptance and funding options will come soon.

Applied for sociocultural subtrack. Got an email to check the application portal. Template rejection letter (contents same as the poster below regarding how unique individuals have been reduced to their applications dossier). Good luck to the rest who are still waiting to hear back from them!
