i got the email for the Spring Day Visit that said "congrats" before the official email/letter from the university!

Expected decision. My GRE scores were not so good. I don´t mind it anyway becase I realized It would be hard to work and getting a well payied job as an architecture historian. Altough I love architecture history. Good luck everyone. I will wait other decisions on post proffesional. They are another hard ones too. I might apply next year once a raise my GRE and TOEFL scores but MBAs.

Decision was taken in mid feb, t tooj 15 days for the mail to reach me..

A partially personalized form letter, which came attached to the eMail as a .pdf. Therefore, the tantalizing suspense was drawn out for a few more seconds until the file was completely downloaded... The wording was quite intricate, even poetic at times, but crushing nonetheless...

Called the department. Extremely helpful and comforting despite the bad news.

I called the division as suggested by the poster below, and they are pretty nice, even though it was bad news. I'd recommend anyone waiting for their decision to call the division specifically. The main admissions number won't tell you anything.

Informal email from POI, followed by formal email from head of admissions the next day. Yay!

Beg for the decision today, and got the rejection signed today :))
