Congrats to everyone who's been getting interviews!! I haven't seen any posts from social on here... Has anyone heard from POI: SA?

(Structural Engineering) 2 interviews with POI in August. Applied in December. Received an email today from the POI with the non-official results that I was accepted in the Ph.D. with funding. No masters. Toefl: 106. 3 strong LORs, 1 yr research exp.

Invited to official interview

Reached out about admissions decisions and they said "Thank you for applying to our program. Faculty are still in the process of reviewing applications and all invitations to interview will be extended by this Friday (1/15), at which point we'll update that notification on our website."

Has anyone heard from PI: JA for prelim/ formal interviews?

Interview via email for 2/8 or 2/12, POI: SVS

3.4 GPA in undergrad, MS in organic chemistry, 3 years industry experience, 3 publications & 2 patents

BS in Psychology, MS in Medical Science, concentration Aging and Neuroscience, 1 publication with multiple in prep.

Organic. Received offer via email then got a call from POI a few minutes later. Super excited!

MS in chemistry + 2.5 years of Industry experience. 3 first author publications & two patents.

Generic message indicating my acceptance. Funding decisions are made later.

Hi person who asked about ABC -- I did a prelim interview with her back in early Dec, but didn't get a formal interview invite. I'm pretty certain she has finalized her interview list and reached out to everyone. I know this is disappointing and I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I figured it's better to know sooner rather than drag out the uncertainty.
