Got referred to the ENTS program. :( Not going to take the refer. 3 years of work experience, 3 stellar LOR. The only thing I can think of is missing research experience (was not planning for MS in undergrad). To others that are still waiting, best of luck.

Got an email saying I was accepted. This is where I went to undergrad (also for CS). Glad to be going back!

They sent me an e-mail, and then they recommended to apply to Telecommunication major which is related to electrical engineering.

What a surprise!

hello folks. ! I have seen a lot of rejects below for MS CS. But my decision is under department review . Anyone else like that??? Area ML / AI

Did anyone not receive a mail yet from UMD College park?. My status still shows under review. For those rejected has your status changed guys?

Got referral to ENTS program. To all other applicants, please show if you are interested in accepting the referral. Thank you all and hope for the best.

Got referred to Telecomm program.

UG in CS from NITW. Working for a semiconductor giant - work is relevant to my area of interest (Operating Systems/Computer Architecture). 2 publications in moderate IEEE conferences and open-source contributions to the Android Open Source Project. 2nd rejection and no admits so far.. The rejection email is the coldest one I've received so far. But really helps to move on now

This is the rejection letter. Schools are becoming less polite every year. Not even starting with "sorry or regret to inform you": "This e-mail is to inform you that you have not been selected for admission to our PhD program for Fall 2019 or for our PhD/MS deferral waitlist.
