Pleasantly surprised!

My POI sent me an email. I should receive a formal letter soon.

No financial aids. Does anyone know how I can receive funding opportunities. Is it general situation? Or di I have to regard this admission as one of rejection. Thanks

Anyone hear from them yet?? Still nothing...

At least it came earlier than last year. But I really wish they can send it through email. Like there's a difference.

Had to wait 2 months to hear a reply. "While we were fortunate to have many highly qualified candidates, the intense competition and limited number of fellowships/assistantships required us to decline admission to many good applicants such as you."

Emailed me asked whether I am still interested in the program. If interested, then we may have an interview through phone.

Informal email from DGS notifying me of admission and funding offer. Said I will receive the formal offer within the next two weeks. Interviewed previously w/ faculty in my area of study over skype.

Technically an unofficial acceptance, since they are still putting together funding packages.

Given acceptance and funding package at the conclusion of campus visit. Very excited!

TA for 2 semesters

To the posts asking about PSU, I was offered admission but placed on the wait list for funding. So I would suppose there are separate wait lists for admission and for funding. I don't know about others but I had an informal interview with a faculty member the day before I received the email with the admission offer.

I was contacted by my POI yesterday afternoon and told that my application and visitation were reviewed favorably, and that I was accepted into their program. POI is D.C.

Has anyone heard back from the Huck school program?

To the poster below, I did not have an interview and was accepted yesterday.

Are funding waitlist and offer waitlist different? I wonder because I've got no email from them, even rejection but there are no postings with 'offer' waitlists.
