form letter. I was hoping for a positive response or a waitlist since it arrived so late

'deny' was in the subject line of the e-mail. It felt harsh and cold for some reason.

Thank you so much for the info. Yeah, I hope we BOTH get in. DU seems like an amazing program. At least you know you're on the waitlist. Cheers to that. Best wishes.

Hey: to the person who called and found out they were 1 of 7 waitlisted for the program, was that poetry or fiction? Can you tell me who you spoke with?

Wow. The waiting period is finally over! I got accepted to 3 out of 4 grad schools. I can't wait to check out SDSU next week and meet with faculty. I'm pretty sure my final decision will be SDSU. Soooo excited!

Damnit. This blows, since this school was my top choice.

Emailed to inquire. Received the following email an hour and a half later: "The committee is currently in the process of reviewing applications. The first round of letters went out in this mornings mail so you should be hearing something very shortly. I hope this helps at least a little." ....hopefully this is a good sign?

I emailed them to find out my application status or when to expect to hear my status. I got a phone call half hour after this email was sent that I had been accepted, with partial funding for both years. official letters are to be sent tomorrow.

Official letter to follow in mail this week. I am so excited! I will probably accept but am waiting on two other schools.

Very excited about this! Hoping to get funding

Still have not heard anything. I called the coordinator yesterday and left a voicemail to find out application status. I have not received a call back yet. oh, the suspense - gah!

after 5 rejections, this is truly wonderful. still waiting to hear about funding.

full-funding and stipend
