Nothing is impossible to those who believe

TPB: Congrats! Did you have a 2nd round interview or just had the final result after the 1st round? I heard there would be a campus visit for the 2nd interview... wondering if it is already done :(

Email from member of admissions committee saying they are interviewing for shortlisted candidates.

kind of a weird email from the professor I had hoped to work with. "The historical musicology faculty at Columbia enjoyed reading your application materials and would like to ask just a few follow-up questions—would you by chance have time to speak by phone/zoom at some point within the week? (I hesitate to call this a formal interview–more of an informal conversation about the program; I believe you may have already or will soon also hear from my colleague George Lewis.)"

any news?interviews or whatever?

Received email to check my status update.
