Not a great fit. Expected but was still disappointed. Congrats to all the accepted!

No GRE. GPA is Grad. 2 publications, 1 review. Great fit. Encouragement from UW-Madison soc faculty. 0a/01r/14p.

Didn't submit GRE. Degrees from UK, both undergrad and graduate. Received email with rejection, and checked portal.

GPA undergrad. UChicago MA. Not a good match. Rejection expected. 0a/2r/0w/0 interview. Programs are getting more applicants and admitting fewer people this year.

Third rejection. Dream school. Got one LoR from UW-Madison sociology faculty.

Second rejection after Chicago. It is one of my dream schools so kinda upset. Congrats to those admitted and good luck to the rejected!

I also had a master's degree in sociology from a top-3 program in the world and received the highest grade on my master's dissertation in the department. Congrats to everyone who didn't get rejected though!

do you know when will Yale send the final decision after the interview?

GPA from masters degree; phone call from DGS to notify of admission. Told to expect an offer letter with specific stipend and tuition remission numbers before end of today or tomorrow.

3.93 masters GPA, strong LORs. no publications & I botched the supplementary questions about career goals etc (literally didn't see them until 30 min pre deadline, multiple typos,,, I hate myself). guess it was a long shot :(
