TTPB congrats on the offer! For which track did you apply?

TTPB: I agree. It seems very early for Princeton. Also, my POI had said they would do interviews once they decide on who is going to be shortlisted. I haven't seen anyone posting about either being accepted or being invited for an interview.

applied to CMT; 2 first-author publications in CMT, 1 3rd author; I guess I needed a 4.0 too :( just remember guys, the world doesn't own you anything

TTPB: I question the veracity of the acceptances posted to the Architecture PhD programs at Princeton, Penn, and Yale. I applied to the programs at Princeton and Penn and have received no communication as of yet. From what I understand, acceptances would be released before rejections.

Subfield: hep-th. 2 publications in JHEP (impact factor of 5). Three Strong LOR's (One from a well-known big shot).

International student (British). Received a rejection email, No interview. Undergrad (Queen Mary) and Masters (UCL) GPA equivalent : 4.0, 2.5 years of research experience, 3 strong LOR's, No publications. Sub field: Hep-th (quantum gravity) It must've been a bad year for international applicants to apply. I'm curious to know whether any international applicants were accepted for hep-th. First rejection :( Waiting for admission results from Stanford, Caltech, Yale and Harvard.

This year's theory is too competitive :(
