Finally! At least got a rejection :P :P. 4A, 1W, 5R till now. Waiting to hear from Cornell.

Did anyone receive updates after waitlisted for Ph.D. ChBE program? Rice is truly my top choice, and I am not sure if I need to continue waiting for the result or accepting other offers since the deadline is approaching. Let me know if you are still waiting as well :) . Thanks!

I got accepted today. They ask for a $500 confirmation deposit. However I am still in the middle of applying for International Scholarships, which I don't know if I will get or not. I still have a month to decide...

Can anyone accepted on Chemical Engineering master contact me if you please? Would like to know more about what they are looking for and what I am missing... ? Decision was totally unexpected especially that 2 professors from epfl (one came from ETH and one from MIT) already accepted me to work in their groups as RA but after enrolling in epfl for administrative issues !!! so I assumed my CV/skills/grade would be fine but they weren't !! please send me on [email protected]

To the UCLA Chemical Poster below, when did the professors contact you? Did you get an offer letter? Can you hint at the professors using their initials or some other way?

I would recommend everyone not to apply for PhD in UCLA. Two professors asked me to get external funds for PhD there. Should I rob a bank or what!

To the poster below for Cornell: I am also waiting, and the application status just shows as "Complete" even when now its April. Don't know what they are waiting for, just send a damn rejection at least. Same for Columbia, there is no answer from them as well. Just need an answer before I reply to the other offers. Even after the ivy day, they have not sent anything.

Anyone heard anything from these schools?
