Only 1.5 yrs work experience in the political space, tangential to environmental work, so this was expected.

M.Arch II - Bye Bye Dreams

Not really surprised, but still sad.

Whoops, realized a letter about funding was attached to the acceptance page in the portal. No funding, so not sure what the next move is for me.

Not disappointed to get the rejection at all. lol My GRE and TOEFL scores are like sucks! But does this program send rejections earlier than offers and waitlists? I saw about seven rejections before I submitted mine. lol Wish everyone else could enter their dreaming program!

Very excited, but still waiting to hear from the department about funding. Email was a robot telling me my status had been updated on the application portal. Anyone hear about funding yet?

No email, no words from the history department. Does anyone get in?

Email to check portal. Short generic rejection. Decent GPA and GRE from small LAC, no work exp. Sad but not surprised

so scared bc it was an email to check the portal but i got accepted !

applied to get rejected (builds character, Calvin) & there we go! 2a/1r/3p; 1 yr out of undergrad with AmeriCorps, 3 yrs living abroad, 1 foreign language + proficient 1 more

OMG... I guess what really helped me was 1) strong recommendation letters, 2) two RAships, and 3) a strong writing sample. Still surprised cuz I only have a 3.6 GPA and no publications (although I had an undergrad research fellowship)

You can't get in if you don't apply, right?

Luckily, I got into JHU SAIS. :)
