Had received an email yesterday asking if I was still interested. Application status now says "admitted". Waiting to hear on funding.

Has anyone else (other than the 3 below who were accepted) heard anything from Iowa? Starting to get worried.

[I received the acceptance email about 4 hours after the the interview.] Undergrad-GPA:3.0 (Undergrad-GPA-Chemistry Courses: 3.10); Grad-GPA: 3.6; Average GRE; Strong Recommendations; 7 Years Research Experience; Publications: 2 Books, 16 Journal Papers (my h-index is 5), 5 National Conferences (4 Posters, 1 Workshop); Outstanding Researcher (2 times); Distinguished Lecturer; Outstanding Chemistry Student; Two Hot Papers (Elsevier); Reviewer for Three Journals (11 papers).

Full funding and stipend for 5 years, teaching fellowship (1:2 teaching load the first year vs. standard 2:2), full health insurance w/ options to add dependants, and a paid visit in March. Super excited, especially after my first two were rejections from Madison and Michigan State. (2 pubs, several conferences, and grad inst. of the year for MA).

Perfect fit for my interests. I'm SO excited!

Still waiting to hear about finances, but couldn't be happier.

A Teaching Assistantship and for the first year, a Huncke Fellowship.

SO EXCITED!!!! This is my top choice and I am going there!!!!!

Received email back from Mary Yotty that the committee is meeting this Friday and would try to send invitations after that.
