Accepted off the waitlist. Sooooooooo excited!!!

TPB: I guess letters are standard: "I am writing to let you know that you have been placed on our waitlist and are ranked high on our list of applicants to the PhD program. The offer process from this point on can be a bit unpredictable" and so on, plus open house invitation.

"I'm afraid we cannot act favorably on your application to our Master of Regional Planning program, as the number of applicants far exceeds our capacity for admission to the class" Loss your Cornell, I'm going to UPenn

TTPB, how do you know, did you get the info from POI or the admission committee?

To posters waitlisted below: What did your letter say?

Haven't heard back. They said they expect some movements by the end of March, especially after the Open House, but I'm not super hopeful really.

TTPB: I have not contacted anyone because I'm most likely going to accept an offer from another school but I am very curious why they haven't said anything.. I might contact them soon just to know. Good luck! I hope it all works out for you!

Good GPA, GRE was waived and TOEFL was 96. Stay positive.

TTPB: thanks for sharing! Did you contact anyone there? What was the answer? I got genetic answer that they would share results in the next week (this one that just passed). But nothing happened! That's so stressful!
