Super stoked!

My first choice, but I was expecting a rejection so the waitlist is a surprise. I have other admission offers with good funding though.

Absolutely thrilled! The dream school! Average grades, ok test scores, loads of work and volunteer experience, and awesome recommenders. Wahoo!

This was my dream school.

Now I can stop refreshing this page!

Below avg grades, OK scores, strong letters & work/volunteer background. Only place I applied. I'm thrilled!

This is the M. Eng program. Received an email today saying that I was recommended to the Dean for admission into the program. Good luck everyone!

I applied to both the UCB and UCSF side, got denied for both. UCB sent me an email today to check the application site. Then later I checked the UCSF application site, and status was also denied...

It is with regret that I write to inform you that you have not been accepted for graduate study at the University of California, Berkeley. The materials you submitted with your application have been carefully reviewed by the admissions committee, but we are unable to recommend you for admission. The UC Berkeley campus has a strict enrollment ceiling, and we are thus very limited in the number of new students we may admit each year. The admissions committee has the difficult task of selecting students with the strongest overall records from a large pool of well-qualified applicants. Unfortunately, this may result in not being able to accept many applicants who are capable of excellent academic work. We appreciate the interest you have shown in UC Berkeley and wish you success in achieving your academic goals. Sincerely, Graduate Admissions Office
