They will update me about funding

Informed unofficially by POI first through a Google hangout call and then an email. Official letter and scholarship details to arrive end of this week or next week. 7 admits this year (4 sociocultural). Not sure if all acceptances are sent out in one go. Had two interviews

They said they only took 6 people from a 100+ applicants so I guess the cut was extra-rough.

Congrats to the Stanford poster below! Did you apply for Arch or Soc-Anth? Do you know if all the acceptances have already been posted? I interviewed last week too, but haven't heard back...

E-mail to check website, followed by personal e-mail follow-up from Admissions Committee chair, to indicate acceptance after interview last week: I thought it had not gone well enough, so am even more elated and grateful. This is technically my third PhD application attempt (one pre-master's, one mid-master's, now post-master's); failure is part of the process, apparently. Keep on keepin' on.

Email and Phone meeting with POI. I accepted the offer. They also offered 5-year tuition fellowship but still hoping someone declines their acceptance so that I can get full funding.

Received a formal email from the Director of Graduate Studies, with funding

Accepted via email. Funding is TBD. Waiting to hear from the 8 other applications I submitted.

Around the same time other people were posting their interviews, I got an email from the committee telling me that they wanted to consider me a finalist in their applicant pool but that I hadn’t submitted my GRE scores. I submitted them right away and heard back yesterday. Good luck!
