Told me that I am on the top of the wait list. Don't know if they really mean it or just rhetorical. Fingers crossed!

Responding to previous post. No news yet on my end, anybody else hear something?

Selection committee met today to discuss my application - told to expect official email next week (first week Feb) PhD would be interdisciplinary, rooted in psychosocial oncology. Committee members = psychology, recreation/leisure, nursing Home dept = nursing Psychology Master's Candidate, 'A' GPA in MA and in last two years BA, publications, local/national/international conferences/ (oral and poster presentations, about a dozen), national and provincially funded for graduate school and NSERC for undergrad. Excellent references, comprehensive and increasingly complex research experience (involved in over a dozen labs across three years, mostly 3-4 at a time).

First acceptance!

Was rejected via an email telling me a decision had been made and to check the application portal. This late in the game I wasn't expecting much but still had some hope, oh well.

To the CMS poster, did you interview?

Invited to campus visit for the weekend hours after doing the zoom interview, all expenses covered. Good sign?
