Accepted for MPhil. Applied by Dec deadline. Website status still says "awaiting decision by board of graduate studies", but I received the acceptance email already.

GPA ~3.9, 2 summer research internships (Weizmann, CERN); waiting for college admission & scholarship

Current postgrad here -- MRes is excellent, but do be careful if you want to proceed to PhD! The internal benchmark is very high and many MRes are ultimately not permitted to advance

MRes, so I can continue on to the PhD if I choose...

Call to interview in Cambridge to discuss my research proposal.

Understandable. I came from a slightly different field and my grades weren't too great. Good luck to other applicants!

very very bummed.

Cambridge Undergraduate, massive long shot as I applied to a field (infinitary combinatorics/large cardinals) with no members of faculty here.
