Long awaited. This program was my top choice and I'm both thrilled and stunned to have been accepted. I had emailed NYU in March asking when decisions would be released and had been told they would come out by the last week of March. The first week of April I reached out again, and was told they would be out by the end of the week. This week (the second week of April) I was heavily anticipating a response and also coming to terms with the fact that the response would likely be a rejection. I happened to get an email to check my portal and my acceptance letter was there. I'm absolutely over the moon and will be accepting this offer. I'm wishing well to everyone else on their journeys! | ||||

Shocked and saddened I wasn't accepted. Wouldn't be able to afford it anyways. Just a general email to check my portal. I visited the school, sat in on a class, met with a Professor...thought I would be admitted. I also have a strong art history background and submitted a cultural background supplement as they suggested to me in-person. The general notif said it was a competitive year, but who knows. | ||||
