A rejection as expected. My 4th rejection so far, I hope to get one admit from 3 admissions left.

Guys the results are out.

In addition to what the poster below noted about spelling the degree "Mengg" every time, Cornell Meng didn't do waitlists last year and admitted in multiple rounds. It would be odd if they changed the format this year.

not saying for sure that the below posts are fake, but they do all seem to spell the degree as "Mengg" instead of "Meng" and have similar writing styles. I would probably wait for an official notification email to be sure :)

I am the one who posts below. I forgot to mention I am currently study at Cornell for Undergrad which is why I know the results haven't been sent.

TTPB: I can confirm the previous posts are all fake. The masters notifications for undergrad not from Cornell have not been sent/made. They will never admit you to MSCS if you only apply to meng. MSCS is very competitive and mostly reserved for Cornell undergrad.

Congrats to the people accepted, happy for you guys =). I just wanna ask did the status change in your portal?

TPB: Agreed Cornell, Yale, UIUC, JHU these univs are almost done sending admits, I am not saying that we are all getting rejected. Just that the chances of acceptance are quite low now. I'd say don't get your hopes high, Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. GL folks

Also haven't heard anything, and it was a reach for me so likely this means reject :( The wording on https://www.cs.cornell.edu/masters/apply/applicationreview explains rejects hear back later than admits: "If an applicant has been declined an offer of admission they will be notified approximately two months after the deadline date."

TTPB: since both admits as well as wait lists seem to have gone out, I would expect only rejects to remain. It wouldnt make sense to have multiple rounds if they have a waitlist so yeah, I think expect the worse.
