2 interviews, then rejection

To the masters acceptance below congrats! Was it official or unofficial? Do you know admission stats?

I am anxious all the time. Why have they kept us on hold?

Did anyone get an update after interviews yet? I wonder when they will send out acceptances

Rejection. Super sad but I have to accept the results. It is what it is. I hope anyone who accepts the offer would enjoy their life in Cambridge and Boston.

"Bulk rejections" is a regular Monday at the MIT admissions office lol. I was never too hopeful but I find it a bit cruel that they're waiting until sometime in March to send me that rejection.

TTBP: Fortunately this forum has a clearly marked method of notification that labels the March 1st rejects as E-mail notifications

ttpb: I know one guy from a uni in the US who got in. He is an Indian. But I am still hopeful.

I understand that they never send any admits in march but I literally don't see even 1 international SM admit on gradcafe or yocket.

March 1st rejections and waitlists: did you guy guys get an email? how were you notified?

Bulk rejections are impending. You will be rejected unless someone happens to decline an offer soon and you happen to be at the top of the list of remaining applicants without a decision. Unfortunately, there isn't enough space for every qualified applicant to be admitted. It is what it is.

ttpb: Some friends got rejections from India. It's March, do they even send SM admits in March or is it just bulk rejections?

I guess we should embrace rejections now. They seem to never release acceptance in March.

Does MIT EECS put some applicants on a waitlist? Is there any waitlisted applicants?

anyone from india received an admit yet? also, does anyone know approx how many ppl are yet to receive a decision in india?
