Emailed them back saying that I want to be removed from the waitlist. If you are not going to go somewhere please remove yourself from the waitlist for the people who really want to go. It's such a pill to wait week after week to wait for a waitlist decision to turn to accept.

Any idea when the final decision can be expected? And what are the chances of getting an admit?

Did they waitlist all the candidates who were not admitted? Or are there rejected applications as well?

Just got waitlisted for the Data Science program. It's been my dream university and I do hope I get selected. I really do hope that the applicants not accepting the seat would kindly reject the offer soon. It's been a rollercoaster of a journey to get here.
