Email to check portal. Same rejection letter as the New Writers version. Not surprised. Wish I had applied to some less competitive schools: like UTEP, Emerson, George Mason. The 27.5k for 3 yrs funding sounded so awesome.

Got a phone call from Kevin and was offered a TA.

Accepted with partial funding. Already offered a full ride elsewhere, so I can't see myself taking this. I think it's a great school though. (5a/0w/0r/8p)

I guess graduate school isn't in the cards for me this year. I'm still waiting for one school, but I'm not hopeful.

To the Texas State posters: were any of you given any info on how big the applicant pool was this year and/or how many spots?

E-mailed to ask about my status and got a response a few hours later. Was told acceptances have gone out and I'm not on the waitlist, ergo I'm rejected. DGS said they received over 100 applicants for 4 spots, 2 of which were in prose.

Is anyone else going crazy waiting for Boston University's decision? It'll be nice to know I am not alone.

For the Hollins Poster - I was accepted maybe two weeks ago via phone (I posted the acceptance so you can search the exact date). Phone call was followed up by an email.
