I guess we should embrace rejections now. They seem to never release acceptance in March.

Does MIT EECS put some applicants on a waitlist? Is there any waitlisted applicants?

anyone from india received an admit yet? also, does anyone know approx how many ppl are yet to receive a decision in india?

Other option disappeared - did not receive waitlist Has anyone heard back from the program? (interviews, decisions?)

Selected Interview because there is no "Other" option. I want to add one more line to the question asked by the previous poster. The portal states: "You can log into this website in early March to see our admissions decision." Does that mean all decisions are still not out? Or we should expect only rejections as status updates here?

Had been in contact with a professor about admission. A little disappointed to see the results, but I also understand it was a long shot for anyone because of the number of applicants.

Email so generic they didn't even specify which program I applied to

Noticed via email. Roughly 8% acceptance rate this semester according to MIT, but that was to be expected tbh. Keep on moving forward and good luck to everyone!

Chinese female who did her undergrad in the U.S. Got a lot of attention from professors during the interview but was ultimately waitlisted. Maybe I don't have the highest GPA but I have a lot of interest in the field and a killer life story.

TPB: same boat, though previous years' results also seemed slow.

Congratulations to the previous student who got the interview of MIT! Who is your interviewer, please. What questions did he or her ask.
