I just happened to check the portal and see that there was a decision letter available.

Thrilled. Email came at 6PM EST.

Invited for in-person interview at Duke-NUS on 26 Feb; selected Emerging Infectious Diseases as program of interest

Those who were accepted: what time did you get the email?

Just got the email! I am shaking!!

Flabbergasted & ecstatic! I interviewed last Monday, & expected there would be second round stuff as in past years, but this is a full on acceptance email from DGS ("the Admissions Committee has recommended your application for admission to Duke Graduate School for the Graduate Program in Literature. You should receive a confirmation of this recommendation in the near future through your applicant portal.") + invite to attend prospective students day at the end of month. Yee haw!

Email from the only P.I. saying she doesn't like me(kidding

Accepted two days after interview weekend

Timing of acceptance should be dependent on what professor you interview with

I also had my interview today and can confirm they said they'll be releasing decisions in the next two weeks. No mention of second-round interviews.

TTPB: Several of us who had our interviews last week were told that the adcomm will be in touch in two weeks, so I suppose we’ll likely hear back from them in the next few days. As for the possible second round interviews, I’m not sure if the department’s doing them this year, given that first round interviews have carried on for longer than usual. Does anyone have any further information on this matter?

I had my interview today, and the admissions committee said they'll be sending emails over the next two weeks, but there was no mention of a second round of interviews... Does anybody know if those will be happening this year?

Area: systems. Got an email saying that my decision had been updated. Viewed on website.
