Very nice phone call followed by a personalized email! Very excited, sounds like a unique and well funded program!

I called and received a kind personal email response. My application is still active, but they have already notified accepted and waitlisted candidates, so it's very unlikely my status would change. I suppose you could say I'm on the waitlist list for the waitlist. So if you haven't heard from them, you might be in this same position (99% probably rejected).

Emailed the department asking for a status update and received a pretty standard email rejection.

A very nice personal email from a faculty member. Nicest rejection I've gotten.

No email. The portal was just updated. For fiction.

Checked the portal. Pretty sad about this one :(

Waitlisted with a very kind email from Mark Brazaitis (this was my second year applying). I got in elsewhere, so no pressure on those of you sitting with acceptances! Season so far is 2a/1w/3r.
