3.95 GPA, double major from top 100 school. GRE: 168 quant 163 verbal 4.5 writing. 1 paper, 3 poster presentations. Just not good enough I suppose. Feels real bad man.

I have been e-mailing to confirm that their silence was a no. Indeed it was. Formal rejection coming in a few days or weeks? If you have not heard from them it is a no by now. Sorry folks, but keep hope! This is my 5th rejection response this cycle.

To the post below who said he/she is defeated: Don't give up your dreams. Just keep working on it. Last year I applied to 10 schools and got rejected by all of them. This year I applied again and got several interviews. It's OK sometimes to take a detour but never too late to achieve your goals as long as you keep going forward. Cheer up and get yourself better prepared. I believe you will succeed eventually. Good luck!
