It's finally here... Didn't get the merit-based scholarship though

went to visit day, just dropped myself from WL

off the waitlist, will accept. EERE group.

Was excited to received the congratulatory email. But had to decline due to lack of funding or financial aid. Best of luck to others.

Declined my fully funded offer this morning. Best of luck to those on the waitlist!

Woah... wasn't expecting this. I'm not sure if I'm accepting yet.

Has anyone on the WL heard back yet? Or emailed them for updates?

for the MEng program, received an email to complete a pre-recorded interview within 7 days.

Admitted for Master of Engineering degree

Was hoping for this one. GRE 332, yet got rejected which means GRE really doesn't matter much.

I wrote a mail some days back, asking them to update me on my status. I got rejection in reply. Frankly, I thought Cornell MSE was within reach for me; maybe they're admitting potential future Nobel Laureates. I won't say I am devastated, but by waiting for an outcome (a reject, which I am sure they could have conveyed earlier, because the letter was generic) from this place, given its higher preference on my priority order, I sat on other admits. People waitlisted there could have waited less and benefited. Anyway, even I am helpless.

Emailed the admission office this morning inquiring status, got a notification for being waitlisted at noon. Gonna keep waiting.
