Awaiting my result. International student about to graduate with a BSc outside of the US. Can you get an offer of admission without an interview?

I'm very surprised to that so many people have been waitlisted, judging from the results updates. Not everyone who has been waitlisted will upload their results, so in reality, there is probably much more applicants who have been waitlisted. It makes me nervous bc idk where i am within the waitlist pool.

To the person below - I think they have all been sent out. You can ask them to be sure, update us if you do. Does anyone know how large the waiting list is and how many people were admitted? Also, please decline the offer soon if you know you won't be attending so others can have a chance to be admitted. Congrats to those who got in !

Does the University of Toronto have sent all their offers and waitlists? I guess folks who get nothing until now will be rejected in mid Feb like what they usually do in previous years. :( soooo upset.

Same here, no email and interview. It's silence since I uploaded my documents in December. Some people got interviewed last week. I emailed the PhD program and they basically told me to wait until February to see if the committee is interested in my application, otherwise wait until mid-April for a decision. I mean, if I'm not shortlisted just tell me I am rejected.

For those who have received an interview: might I ask who you interviewed with? I believe the program is going by potential advisor. Thanks!

To the poster below - I have emailed the chairman about the news on admission decision and she said that ' It may be a few weeks before you would hear about this.' I am also an International student with the highest degree outside North America. Maybe the news for international students would come later, hopefully. Congrats to the friends below with the offer.
