About f***ing time. Honestly, schools that wait this late in the game leave a bad taste in my mouth. And who the he'll wants to live in Tallahassee? Hahaha.

Is anyone who has been accepted to the MFA Writing program at NYU planning to decline? Stuck in the waitlist pool, over here...

Response to status inquiry.

....Whoa.

E-mailed to check status after seeing a post about same on the list here. Was told I had been rejected. Second time! Tried last year too. Thank god I've been accepted elsewhere this year.

Received exact letter last year. Very high on waitlist. I believe this program accepts only one student, but I am not giving up hope.

Bummer.

$17000/year stipend, 1-1 courseload teaching assignment for 3 years

ME

I was contacted on March 2nd to send in my official transcripts (I had only sent my scanned unofficial copy), and finally heard official notice this afternoon.

Good on you all who called DU to find out. I'm terrified! I imagine it's over at this point, but I've only seen two responses on here, and one was fiction, so....fingers crossed!
