Interview invitation

Kind email from the DGS: They have contacted everyone they will consider for this cohort. If you haven't heard from them at all, it's a no.

Sweet rejection from POI, being put in pool for masters candidates. Apparently it's rare to get in straight from undergrad

Short, generic form email

Interviewed during Recruitment Weekend 1.31.20.

Interviewed with ARH subfield 1.20.20.

Was told during interview that admissions decisions would be sent out in "early February".

Just a response to the other AS guy on here -- no, I haven't heard back yet either. Honestly your post was a sight for sore eyes! It feels like every other department at Yale has started to send out responses but I've got radio silence from Yale. I have not been contacted for an interview, and I'm unsure if that's standard practice in the AS department at Yale. It looks like other departments had interviews, but historically it doesn't look like Yale AS interviews, though the joint programs might. It also looks like in past years AS hasn't sent out decisions until the last week of February, so we may have a bit of waiting left to go! Hang in there!

"The admissions committee was impressed by your application and would like to invite you to interview via Skype to get to know you better."

Interview mandatory for admission

Call from POI. 4.0 MA, lots of conferences, revise and resubmit from major journal. Funding package 20k/year, nominated for school-wide scholarship that would bring me to $26k/year total.
