TPB: I emailed the Grad Program Counselor at about 1pm Pacific time. He got back about 3pm pacific with an offer of admission.

[NOT WL] TPB: How long did they take to reply and who did you email? I emailed them and have yet to receive a response.

Got an email telling me that I had been an alternate/waitlisted and that they were now offering me admittance. I had just accepted an offer from a different University two days prior, so I had to reject the offer. Hopefully this opens up a spot for someone else, it is a lovely program (I work as a research scientist at the University currently, and deal with people from this program daily) and the people are wonderful, hopefully someone else can accept!

Was on the waitlist with about 30 other students, emailed them last week letting them know I was still really interested in the program, and got rejected a week later lmao. I have other offers at same level, but still a little sad. Was hoping to study combinatorics
