Rejected off the waitlist. "We have filled all available spots and are no longer accepting."

I called OUHSC Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders asking when I could expect to be notified of their decision. The woman I spoke with told me I was waitlisted for the MA program right then and there. She said they'll be sending notifications out within the next couple of days. I hope this eases some anxiety!

Anyone get an initial email from UF stating they were taking more time to review their application and that they would hear back the next week? Still haven't heard back and it'll be a month on Friday since that email. Tried calling and emailing several times and no one ever responds!

To anyone who has not heard back from URI: I had to email them in order for them to tell me I'm waitlisted (haha). I've already accepted an offer elsewhere so it doesn't matter, however I think it's important that anyone else who is wondering knows this. If you have heard nothing it is very likely you are waitlisted. Good luck everyone!

Congrats to those who got in! Not super disappointed because I committed to another program at UofT!

They had over 400 applications to the program but I'm super excited to even be waitlisted (even though I've committed elsewhere). Congrats to everyone who got in!

Has a facebook group been made yet?

I got an email from them on March 13 saying that "my application was very competitive" and that an admissions committee member would be contacting me soon about an interview. Since then I've heard absolutely nothing. To the poster below who was accepted and is currently attending undergrad there, have you been in contact with them recently?? I've tried emailing them three times, including Dr. Frazier, with no reply.

To a poster below saying they have not heard back from OU yet, I emailed the program director and the next day I heard about my acceptance into the program. I don't know if my email changed the time-period to which they would get back to me, but it is worth a shot to email them!

Most likely will accept, waiting to hear back from top choice first!

I will be turning this down because I have already accepted my top choice... I hope this helps someone else out!

To the poster below, we were referring to Fall.. or at least I was. I'm the one who emailed the advisor for the program and she told me that Fall applicants should receive their results 2 weeks before April 15 (which is this week). It's odd that you haven't heard anything for Summer because they should've sent those results before Fall applicants... if you get no answer today, you should give them a call tomorrow.
