Standard Rejection Email from a POI

DGS answered an email I sent him and told me that they made their decision. I was not accepted and they only accepted one person in this track . The decisisons will come out soon I guess as they had there final meeting yesterday

got an email to check portal. seemed like a standard rejection letter until I read "If in the future you feel that your accomplishments may be competitive, do not hesitate to reapply" wtf???

Confirmed on phone call: all acceptance decisions have already been sent out. Official rejections are coming in early march. If you have applied for referral to MAPSS program, check with admissions office to see if you have been referred!

Recieved email from program coordinator. GPA from M.S.Ed. Did not have an interview. Wrote this off as impossibile because they say an MA in anthro is a virtual pre-requisite. Absolutely shocked and humbled.

Making a huge career change. 2 B.S. with ~2.5 GPA. M.S. in Toxicology with 3.3 GPA. A few years of research in the biological science field and some veterinarian school. Went to Wolverine Access and saw the rejection.

Received email I was rejected from the PhD program, but accepted into the Master's in Public Anthropology program. Anyone have any info on the Master's program?

Email from Graduate Admissions to check application portal. No contact with POI. No information on funding. MA/PhD program straight from undergrad. Undergrad at CT state university, 4.0 Major GPA.

I called the department and was told that all admits had already been interviewed and notified. If you haven't heard, then you will receive a rejection email in two weeks. If you want to be referred to the MAPSS program, it is worth calling that program or the anthropology department to confirm that your application was referred.

Pretty bummed, but congrats to others who may have been accepted!

Checked Wolverine Access since I saw other people had their decisions here. No surprise. Hands down the worst application and status check system I've ever seen.
