Email that portal has been updated

Y'all......being rejected by NYU and referred to their Bioethics MA program is a rite of passage. Enjoy it. LOVE it. lmao

I have a BS in chemistry

Before looking at this page, I have been thinking about the relationship between bioethics and me (there is not any)! Now, I see: NYU tries to sell us their program; they have well-thought marketing strategies: "the School of Global Public Health believes that you may be a good candidate for their master's program." A firm or a university?

"You have been accepted to Masters.." blah blah

Email to check the status on the portal. Their hubris is just absurd. Please, for the love of god, I hope nobody actually pursues their Bioethics MA program. It is a scam. Run, don't walk away.

Biggest tease ever: "I am very pleased to tell you that you have been admitted to the...." OMG OMG "....Master of Science program in Mathematics" oh thanks bye

Received an email to check the portal. Assumed it was a rejection. Pleasantly surprised I was offered admission. I plan to attend in the Fall.

Form rejection 😭

No interview. I was offered admission to the Masters Program in Mathematics instead, which I've heard is pretty common for NYU. I declined. They also never watched the optional video which made me a little salty because I stressed about that for a while.

Email to check portal. Form rejection.

Email to check the ol' portal. Cue the George Michael Bluth GIF.

(Ignore Waitlist) Is the department not sending out rejections or something? Applied for HEP-ex and it's mid-March with no word still. At this point I'm treating this as a rejection given posts about them having an open house next week, but who knows...

Received email to check portal. No funding.

Please reject the offer if you would not consider doing a Ph.D. at York.

Why is everyone so offended by the bioethics MA plug????
