Undergrad at large tier 2 state university. No REU or research experience, but took ~10 grad math classes in undergrad.

To the Purdue MSME poster below, I had asked the department the same question sometime around Feb end, and got the same standard reply. I got an admit a week later. So don't lose hope, the reply is not supposed to be personalized. Purdue is known for giving decisions late.

Hey guys (for those who haven’t got any reply from Purdue regarding the status of their application), I had asked the graduate committee regarding the tentative date when they would be declaring the results for the graduate admissions. I got the following reply : “Unfortunately, we cannot give you an exact date on when you will receive an admissions decision (via e-mail) from us. However, if you have other options at this time, you may want to consider them. -ME Graduate Office, Purdue”
