My professor let me know in my class that I was accepted.

Notified by an email asking me to log into their site to learn about the decision.

I was told during the interview with my prospect supervisor that my application did not make it during the selection processes. It was awful news to know during the interview. He said he wanted to tell me in person, as he personally liked my application and advised me what to do next year to get accepted.

email from poi, I like that you can read "I am sorry to inform you" without even clicking on the email (because otherwise you still have some false hope, and that's worse).

Emailed GPC to inquire about admissions results and this is what they answered: "because there were few spaces available for new students. we have placed you on our waitlist for admission to the program for Fall 2020." Curious to know if they actually took on any Sociocultural Anthropology students this year, as I have heard sometimes this can really vary from one year to the next.

Has anyone heard back about a PhD in Anthropology? I applied December 20th and my application status has not changed (so it's been almost 9 weeks). Admissions said they have a big stack of applications to go through still and Anthropology says they won't see my application until its approved by the admissions department.

Has anybody heard from Bio-Anth program yet? I've only seen sociocultural results listed.
