Those who are familiar with at least the reputation of the program - how is the Hollins Fiction program nowadays? I know it was a stellar program in the past, but now there is so much uncertainty around it. I've bee accepted both to Hollins and NC Wilmington (as well as to Minnesota Mankato), all with funding, and I have such a hard time to choose. Please advise! Thank you.

Anyone still waiting on VCU? I emailed them maybe two weeks ago and they said they were still working on notifications. I'm wondering if they were done with acceptances or not.

Did anyone else hear from Georgia College for the fiction program? I saw one notification yesterday on here and it's been making me sick, because that's where I want to go!!!

Got the EXACT same email about being high on the waitlist and can't handicap my odds yada yada and now feeling not so high on the waitlist. Good luck!

sent March 1st....note from Lan Samantha Chang (Thanks for the strong application)

Any word on Alabama this late in the game? Do they triage applications, read until spots are full, and sit on the rest? Looks like they're done admitting. All e-mails to the English department have gone unanswered. ???

I already posted (no worries !!! Not one more wait listed person) but wondering - how common is it to get off the wait list? I really want to go!

To the poster below: haven't heard a peep from BU, my status on the admissions page still says "Completing"
