Received an email with an invitation to open house weekend but was informed it wasn't a acceptance offer: "As a formality, we must tell you that final approval of this offer is contingent upon acceptance from the Graduate Schools, but I expect that you will receive official notification from the Graduate School shortly."

BS in Chemical Engineering, 4+ years as bioengineering research assistant, 1 year working in industry as process chemical engineer. First and only rejection so far...oh well, glad I applied to 10 others!
