Well, this one stung. Letter was dated March 1 and arrived today. I wasn't really counting on this one, but the cold tone of that half-paragraph letter was pretty brutal. Congrats to all who got in. 1a/0w/1r waiting on 3 more.

Handwritten note: "this is strong work" at the bottom of the form rejection. Don't know if it's better or worse to have apparently come close. Oh well. 2a/0w/6r.

I called Admissions last week and she told me that the letters should coming out this week. Some will be acceptances, most will be formal rejections. Good luck!

I've seen several decisions posted from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. On my Admissions Profile, the admission decision still says "in progress." Is anyone else still waiting to hear from Iowa?
