Update to my last post. They emailed me back saying it's still under faculty review and I will hear back as soon as they make a decision. Don't stress everyone! It's good we did not hear rejections

Was written in the rejection mail. For applications from India, we accepted: CGPA of 8.0 and above from top tier Institutes (very few exceptions were made); CGPA of 8.5 and higher of tier II institutes; CGPA of 9.0 and higher of tier III institutes Should have mentioned it in the application requirements. Would have saved few USD for some other university. So much for evaluations holistically.

Email to check website. Huge pool of applicants, 10%< accepted. Multiple conference abstracts/posters, internship, strong letters, multiple honors.

To the post below, I have not heard back anything yet and I called the admission several times but no one picked up. I am sending an email to them and will update

Has anyone contacted the department recently regarding the waitlists and final decisions?

Got an email saying check the website. Thought I would get admitted, already got admissions from UCI and UMass Amherst. Boulder rejected me. Well no hard feelings at all, going to accept UCI probably anyway. Email states that the prerequisite courses and the cgpa less than 3.65 is the common reasons to not get an acceptance. I think schools I got admissions from considered my last two years gpa being really good before admitting me. CU did not care apparently. Congrats to everyone admitted! Waiting for UCSD notification right now, but expecting a reject now since it took so long.

Needed above 8 for a tier 3 clg

Non CS undergrad. Took many CS undergrad courses after graduating

Got an email asking me to check my status. So sad :(

average GPA for admitted student was 3.65

Accepted, initially waitlisted for funding. Contacted a day later with offer of funding!

Applied to PhD in ECEE, while received Professional MS in Power Electronics..... All 30 credits on professional courses without any thesis program.... Not sure if it would be helpful for further PhD application...

Emailed POI about status- was funding was very low this cycle so he couldn’t take a student. Was informed that 300+ people applied, and the funding was allotted to applicants with the highest GRE and GPA combo. 3 strong LORs/ conference pubs/internship/active research. Best of luck to those who were admitted! Gonna go cry to my rock collection ttyl

Applied to PhD program and rejected, but admitted to their MS in CS program. Received other admits so I will be declining the offer.
