Admitted with $20200 for funding. It strikes me as being a bit low given the cost of living in Boulder, but Im interested in hearing the size of others' offers.

To the poster below, I have also tried sending an email to [email protected] earlier this week and still have not gotten a response. I haven't tried contacting anyone else though.

Has anyone else had trouble contacting the MSE department at Boulder? I have sent a couple emails to the [email protected] and one to the director and admin, but I have had no response from any of them.

To the poster below: haven't heard any results yet. I emailed early in March asking for an estimate of the timeline for hearing back, and they said "this month"

Professional MS in Embedded Systems, CGPA 8.07/10, TOEFL 110, 4 IEEE/ACM Publications, 1 Book Chapter, 2 Foreign internships in UG, 1 Patent, B.Tech ECE from India, Directly applied to this program

Has anyone heard back from CU about the Masters yet?

Email from advisor.

To the poster below: thank you! they didn't answer my email so I freaked a little bit out.

Update to my last post. They emailed me back saying it's still under faculty review and I will hear back as soon as they make a decision. Don't stress everyone! It's good we did not hear rejections

Was written in the rejection mail. For applications from India, we accepted: CGPA of 8.0 and above from top tier Institutes (very few exceptions were made); CGPA of 8.5 and higher of tier II institutes; CGPA of 9.0 and higher of tier III institutes Should have mentioned it in the application requirements. Would have saved few USD for some other university. So much for evaluations holistically.

Email to check website. Huge pool of applicants, 10%< accepted. Multiple conference abstracts/posters, internship, strong letters, multiple honors.

To the post below, I have not heard back anything yet and I called the admission several times but no one picked up. I am sending an email to them and will update

Has anyone contacted the department recently regarding the waitlists and final decisions?

Got an email saying check the website. Thought I would get admitted, already got admissions from UCI and UMass Amherst. Boulder rejected me. Well no hard feelings at all, going to accept UCI probably anyway. Email states that the prerequisite courses and the cgpa less than 3.65 is the common reasons to not get an acceptance. I think schools I got admissions from considered my last two years gpa being really good before admitting me. CU did not care apparently. Congrats to everyone admitted! Waiting for UCSD notification right now, but expecting a reject now since it took so long.

Needed above 8 for a tier 3 clg

Non CS undergrad. Took many CS undergrad courses after graduating
