Just got rejected. Still disappointed. I got three recommendation letters and one of them is from the faculty member of this program. Anyway, congratulations to those who got the interview invitation. Good Luck.

Has anyone heard back for an interview?

Hi all, has anyone received a notification from the UW@Seattle iSchool? Their website stated that they will notify those selected for interviews from mid to the end of December.

1 first author paper published. 3 other co-authored papers under review. Presented 2 posters. 3 national level awards. 4 years of computational biology research experience with 3 being full time. Currently doing research at a Harvard affiliate with a famous PI in the field but no LOR. My previous position was also with a well known PI who wrote a LOR. BS in unrelated field from a mid tier school (ranked ~150 in the US).

Two interview weekends, both virtual. Low undergrad, high Masters GPA. No pubs, No GRE. Strong letters, lots of research experience and diversity work.
