[Not wl] Anyone who hasn't heard back? Are we informally on a waitlist ... the visit day was yesterday and I haven't heard back ...

TTPB: Someone from the department emailed me directly, but most other people on the waiting list probably got something similar. They received over 300 applications this year and have made 30 offers that they are waiting on responses for. Small snippet from the email: "...at this time we have not ordered the waiting list - all I can tell you is that you are on it and we consider you to be very well qualified for our program."

(not wl) TTPB: Thanks for your info! Did the email you mentioned come from a stuff in the stat department? Or the auto email when your application status changed to waitlist?

TTPB: It seems that UW has already notified people who are on the waitlist via email, but I have also seen plenty of rejections posted. I was waitlisted at the beginning of last week. The waitlist isn't ordered and they won't notify people until close to the April 15 deadline.

Asked the program coordinator through email and got rejected.

Got put into waitlist after email notification.

Received an email on behalf of associate chair, official letter to come in the new few weeks. Domestic application with Canadian undergrad in Applied Statistics

Did anyone else get an email from the student services office with information for admitted students but not get an actual offer of admission yet??
