I had already told the department (at their prompting) that I had what I perceived as better offers and probably wouldn't accept, but I'm pretty unclear on what the internal process was regarding decisions, so I thought best to report my official rejection. --Roadrunner

I got an email to check the website, without funding

Applied for PhD, received rejection in February. Sent additional email inquiring whether being accepted for Masters program in early March, no response back. Inquired again 10 days later, received a response in late March notifying me of an informal acceptance to the MPH program.

To the other poster today - I called last week and their contact is not on the admissions team. She said they gave out a few acceptances already, but that they are still working through the applications. No plans to give final decisions by today, so go ahead and accept another offer if you have one that is due today

Still no reply. Does it mean that I am wait listed?

To the poster below, I got an email this morning saying I was rejected. I was already mentally prepared for that result so I'm not too upset about it. I've accepted my other offer. Wish you luck and a great phd life!

To the poster below, UNC is kicking people out of their waitlist from the bottom as admitted students accepting their offer. I would say the hope to get off from their long-long waitlist is relatively low at this time. If you still would like to wait for them, please decline the offer you are not planning to go, thank you!

To the poster below, I applied biostatistics phd program and haven't heard back from them either. My other schools' deadline is April 15th. If this result doesn't come out before that, I guess I'll just accept my other offer. This sucks...
