Knew it was coming since I never got an interview, but surprised it took this long for ECU to send out the letters.

Just accepted my offer to USF. Super excited! Declined my offer to UT Austin and removed myself from the UF waitlist. Hope that helps someone else out!

JMU's flaky admissions process had turned me off of the program before I even got my rejection. A 3-day notice for a mandatory on-campus interview (with no opportunity to Skype) in early February, even though their website states we'd get a 1-2 week notice and it would be in LATE February. And then taking this long to get back to most of us (some ppl had heard back like 2 weeks ago)? Kind of disorganized in my opinion.

To those who said they haven't heard from JMU yet. I believe they notify those who have been rejected and those who have been accepted first. If you haven't heard then you were most likely waitlisted and Dr. Rout is waiting for the 6 accepted students to give their decision before he contacts you.

Ironically, I just withdrew my application this morning as I had already accepted admission to another program, but received the rejection several hours later. The program was not what I was looking for, so not disappointed.

Is there anyone who received funding to Vanderbilt that is planning to turn it down? I know they gave funding to very few students and designate all accepted students as alternates, so I'm just wondering what my chances are.

Anyone else still not heard anything from JMU? When I interviewed there a month ago Dr. Rout said we'd definitely hear back in two weeks but I've heard nothing. I don't even want to go there at this point, but it would be nice if they told me what was up.
